I I have decided to forego telling the details on a public webpage, as there's just too much bitterness on my part right now. The vet says he went down easy and quick, and didn't give too much trouble. She cut off his brand and part of his mane for me, and I'm in the process of tanning them. That and his blanket and the halter and lead you see on him in this pic will be buried later at an appropriate site.
I still miss him a lot.
